On 2 February 22 MHKs voted in the House of Keys in favour of Peter Karran to be given leave to present his motion for the introduction of a transport levy to collect a health insurance premium of £1.70 as a contribution to a master policy in the name of the IOM government which insures every ordinary Isle of Man resident for hospital treatment for a maximum trip to the UK of 90 days. All ages are included regardless of present or past health conditions to maximum sum insured of £100,000 plus repatriation back to the IOM
